TCHS golf team finishes second

Daniel Everett fired a 3-over par 75 to lead the Taylor County High golf team to a second place finish in the Big Bend Championship held Wednesday at Capital City Country Club.

While Chiles High won the event with a score of 301, the Bulldogs outplayed 8 other Tallahassee-area teams to claim the runners-up prize. Other teams playing in the tournament and their 4-man totals included Leon (321), Lincoln (321), Maclay (325), Florida High (358), Aucilla (363), John Paul II (379), Wakulla (437) and North Florida Christian (454).
