No charges will be filed in Cruce shooting death

A Taylor County Grand Jury found that Justin Cox, 22, of Tallahassee, acted in self-defense when he shot and killed Travis Cruce, 22, during a late-night confrontation Aug. 7 on a public road in the Three Rivers Hunting Club.

The Third Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office convened a grand jury Friday, Oct. 2, to present the facts of the case.
