Lewis expected to rule in state’s redistricting case within the week

Leon County Circuit Judge Terry Lewis is expected to rule on Florida’s congressional district maps within the next week in a case that could have major impacts on how Taylor County is represented in Washington, D.C.

Late last month, seven proposed maps were submitted to Lewis, a Perry native and Taylor County High School graduate. Three of the maps were from the legislature while the other four were from the various plaintiffs in the case.
