TCHS golf team defeats seven other schools to win district title

The Taylor County High golf team accomplished a rare feat Monday as members  defeated 7 other Tallahassee-area teams to win the Class A, District 3 title at an 18-hole tournament played at Southwood in Tallahassee.

Bulldog senior golfer Cole Wentworth, who recently signed with Valdosta State, sank an 8-foot birdie putt on the final hole to card a 73 and win the district’s individual title by one shot.
