Fiesta for a cause Oct. 17!

PAWS (Pets Are Worth Spaying) volunteers invite you to “fiesta like there’s no manana!” at their annual fund-raising event this Saturday, Oct. 17, at Steinhatchee Landing.

At 6 p.m. “Howl at the Moon” with drinks and a preview of raffle prizes.

At 7(ish), a southwest dinner buffet will be served courtesy of Chef J.R. of Mama’s Italian Restaurant.

Tickets are $20 each or $3 per couple. There will also be a live auction, cash bar and a drawing to win a hot air balloon ride.

PAWS is a non-profit organization that helps pet owners spay and neuter their dogs and cats in the Jena/Steinhatchee area. The group also hosts a vaccination clinic twice a year.
