Golf team wins regional tourney; Wentworth wins individual title

The Taylor County High golf team continued its winning run this week as the Bulldogs captured the Class 1A, Region 1 tournament in Destin and senior Cole Wentworth won the individual regional title after firing a 2-over par 74 on the blustery Sandestin course.

The victory qualifies TCHS for the 36-hole state championship to be played Tuesday and Wednesday at Mission Inn and Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills.
