Fire claims beach house

Fire claimed a one-story beach house on stilts at Keaton Beach just before midnight Sunday, Oct. 18.

No one was home (the owners live in Jacksonville) and the structure was a total loss, Taylor County Fire Rescue (TCFR) Lt. Shaun Cayson reported.
