TCHS golf team finishes 10th at state tournament

After closing out Tuesday’s first round in a tie for fourth, the Taylor County High golf team fell back in Wednesday’s final round finishing 10th in the State Class 1A tournament at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills.

Tuesday’s initial 18 holes of the 36 hole tournament saw TCHS senior Cole Wentworth fire a 2-over par 74 to go along with juniors Graham Lynn and Daniel Everett, who had 77s. Greyson Hicks shot an 87 and Alex Parker had a 92.
