Lucky break

Taylor County Fire Rescue responders had to break the windshield of this overturned truck Tuesday morning to free the driver.

“She was standing up through the driver’s side window waving at us when we arrived,” one firefighter said. The crash happened on U.S. Highway 19 North almost directly across from M.A. Rigoni, Inc. The driver, whose identify was not known as of presstime, was not injured.
