Whiddon wants new attorney

What was supposed to be a routine pre-trial hearing Monday morning took a turn when defendant Rodney Whiddon–linked to the Shelly Strickland murder investigation–asked the court for a new attorney.

Whiddon’s hearing followed an appearance by Garrett Arrowood, who has been charged with first degree murder in the Strickland case, before Live Oak Circuit Judge David W. Fina.
