Representatives from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) recently presented the Taylor County Commission with a ceremonial check for $100,000 for the two Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) the county received this year to fund improvements at the Steinhatchee Community Center Park and the Taylor County Sports Complex.
Work on the projects, as well as a third FRDAP grant received last year for Keaton Beach’s Hodges Park, is expected to get underway this winter.
