Sophomore QB Josh Mixon ran for a touchdown, threw for 371 yards and two long touchdown passes to Willie Elder and Darrell Cook to lead the Taylor County Bulldogs to a thrilling, come-from-behind 19-16 victory over Newberry in the regular season finale Friday night at Dorsett Stadium.
Mixon completed 17 of 33 passes for 371 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, in addition to running for a 23-yard touchdown in the first quarter to power the Bulldogs’ offense.
