Sumrall shares first-person account of Panama invasion

When Phil Sumrall graduated from Taylor County High School in 1967, little did he know that one day his actions would become a footnote to history.

“I joined the Army right after high school and stayed in for almost 30 years. I traveled all over the world. Served in Vietnam and several other battles,” the military veteran said.
