About 100 people–mostly veterans and their families– gathered Tuesday morning for the official dedication and ribbon-cutting for the new Perry Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), which first opened its doors in September.
The day was the culmination of years of work between Taylor County and the VA to bring a clinic to the community, and officials from both organizations credited their partnership for making the clinic a reality.
