Dr. John Parker topic of Historical Society’s meeting

Rebecca Woofter will present the life of her grandfather, longtime Taylor County physician Dr. John Parker, at the Monday, Nov. 16, meeting of the Taylor County Historical Society.

“Few people have had the impact on their home community as Dr. Parker did on Perry and Taylor County. We invited everyone to attend,” organizers said.

The program will start at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the program.
