Dr. John Powell Puckett Jr., 78, of Winter Haven, died Oct. 8, 2015 of heart failure.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, at 11:30 a.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, Ga., with the Rev. Chris Michael officiating.
