Turkey give-away planned for Nov. 21

As part of its efforts to feed 20,000 families throughout the Big Bend region this holiday season, Bridging the GAPP will hold a Thanksgiving turkey give-away in Perry on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Loughridge Park.

“We are now approaching uncertain times in our communities and many families will not be able to experience a holiday meal during the Thanksgiving season,” Chief Operating Officer Marvin D. Stockton said. “We want to help.”
