No parole in sight for killer

At 48, Jessie James Livingston Jr. has outlived his victim by one year.

Livingston turned 48 in June; his victim, Irene Buckhalter Hill, was 47 at the time of her death.

He is 30 years into a life sentence for Hill’s shooting death and Wednesday, Dec. 2, the Florida Parole Commission will review Livingston’s case to set a Presumptive Parole Release Date (PPRD).

Release will not be an option during this hearing, said Public Information Specialist Kelly Corder who is with the Florida Commission on Offender Review.
