Bad tag light leads to drug arrest

A busted tag light led to the arrest of a 51-year-old Perry man on multiple felony drug charges Saturday night, Nov. 14.

Edward Bernard Watkins remains at the Taylor County Jail on charges of possession of cocaine with intent within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of cannabis with intent within 1,000 feet of a church and resisting/obstructing/opposing law enforcement officer without violence. He was also cited as a habitual traffic offender.
