Dr. Roberto Sanchez

Dr. Roberto ‘Bob’ Sanchez, a former resident of Perry, passed away Nov. 18, 2015,  at his residence in Brandon.

Bob moved to Perry in 1974 and taught Spanish at Taylor County High School for several years.  He also taught night classes for French and German. He was fluent in seven different languages and enjoyed playing the piano, which he played by ear.

Memorial services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perry on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 1:30 p.m. with Father Bernie presiding. He will later be laid to rest in the military grounds at Bushnell.
