County employees will have an extra jingle in their pockets this holiday season thanks to a one-time work performance incentive package approved by commissioners Monday.
“These are incentives for people that are loyal and have done a good job,” County Administrator Dustin Hinkel said in presenting the plan.
“We are not using the ‘b’ word (bonus), this is a performance incentive. Full-time employees will receive $750 and part-time employees $300. Those are net. That’s what they’ll take home in their pocket. Every employee will be eligible.”
