Women seriously injured in crash

Two Georgia women were seriously injured in a Sunday afternoon crash about seven miles south of Perry on U.S. 19.

Lillan J. Hightower, 79, and Abbie Derrell Hightower, 80, both of Carrollton, Ga., were traveling north on U.S. 19 in a 2003 GMC Envoy about 1 p.m., according to a report filed by Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper James I. Parker Jr.
