Forest fires on the rise in Taylor?

The Florida Forest Service (FFS) responded to 70 wildfires in Taylor County during the fiscal year ending June 30, about double the number of fires from year before.

In total, fires burned 156 acres, which was also up from the previous year, during which 91 acres were burned by 36 wildfires.
