The Taylor County Commission is encouraging business owners along U.S. 19 to clean up their properties to help better the community’s image, but again stopped short of requiring they do so.
At their Nov. 16 meeting, commissioners voted 4-0 to pass a resolution publicly stating their desire that the U.S. 19 corridor be improved, while also questioning the City of Perry’s ordinance which mandates such improvements with the threat of fines.
