Signs of the Season

Downtown is getting ready to welcome visitors for the annual Christmas Open House this Friday, Dec. 4. Opening ceremonies will be held in front of the Taylor County Historical Society, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Historical Society and Main Street Perry have teamed together to organize the tree-lighting and welcoming festivities. Main Street Design Committee elves swept through downtown this week, decorating street corners with custom-made Christmas trees. Holiday banners and ribbons, courtesy of the City of Perry, also line Jefferson Street.
