Donate a toy and get half-price admission

The Taylor County High boys soccer teams will be hosting an alumni soccer game on Friday, Dec. 18, beginning at 7 p.m. at Dorsett Stadium.

The event is two-fold … to help raise funds for the team and to gather items for the needy during the holiday season. Over the next several weeks and at the game, players will be selling tickets for a chance to win seven prizes ranging from Yeti Coolers to $100 gift certificates. Those who donate either a  coat or a toy for a child will be admitted at half price. Also, “vintage” soccer jerseys will be on sale for only $2.
