3 charged with trafficking meth

Three suspects face smuggling and trafficking charges after more than 100 grams of methamphetamine was discovered hidden under the hood of their car.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper N.L. Cabe and Trooper Brian Lundy, both members of the department’s Criminal Interdiction Unit, were monitoring traffic on U.S. Highway 27 Saturday, Dec. 5, when Lundy spied a passing car in which a passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.
