With what organizers are calling the “best weather we’ve ever had,” the eighth annual Southern Pines BBQ Festival took over Forest Capital Park for two days of music and barbecue.
“All of the components were there for the perfect festival,” Coordinator Dawn Taylor said. “We had great weather, excellent music, an overabundance of food and craft vendors, lots of fun activities for kids and, of course, award-winning barbecue.
