Wine sales now allowed on Sundays in county

The Taylor County Commission agreed unanimously Tuesday to allow wine sales on Sundays, joining beer and malt beverages, which were previously available.

The commissioners were first approached about the issue during their October workshop by a group of Steinhatchee business owners asking that they consider approving wine sales, noting that it is already sold at stores and restaurants within the City of Perry.
