Man, 33, charged with lewd, lascivious battery on a minor

A 33-year-old Taylor County man allegedly used a false name and profile on Facebook to stalk potential underage victims, a move which ultimately led to an alleged sexual assault on a young girl (age 12 or older, but under 16).

Derek Ryan Kelley, aka “John Croft,” was arrested Thursday morning and charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a child under 16.
