Beating victim Paul K. Pridgeon has seemingly squandered what many might consider a second chance at life. The 67-year-old man survived a beating officers said would have likely killed most people and yet apparently returned to his criminal lifestyle almost immediately.
A joint investigation between the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office and the Tallahassee office of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) led to federal drug charges against Pridgeon. On Friday, Dec. 4, he was sentenced to seven years in federal prison for the sale of methamphetamine
