DCF officials at library two days a week

With nearly one-quarter of Taylor County residents receiving food stamp assistance, including one third of local children, the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) has begun stationing personnel at the Taylor County Public Library on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to assist residents with issues regarding food stamps, cash assistance and Medicaid.

The representatives will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
