Fearing alleged reports of the possible closure of Steinhatchee School, parents and community members responded en masse at the Taylor County School Board’s Tuesday night meeting.
The standing-room-only crowd was united in its wish for the school to remain open. Attendees vowed to help district officials work toward increasing student enrollment at the school.
