Nearly eight months after the two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of former mayor Emily Ketring’s 15-year-old daughter, Angel, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has completed its investigation and cited both drivers involved with misdemeanor offenses.
James Harrison Hatcher, who was 19 at the time of the crash, was cited for violation of right-of-way; Reuben Mendoza, 26, of Lake City, was cited for driving without a license, no proof of insurance and expired tag.
Both men received the citation notices this week and are awaiting upcoming court dates.
