Harris honored as district’s non-instructional employee of year

When Taylor Technical Institute (TTI) custodian Rosa Marie Harris was called to the administration building Friday morning, she wasn’t greeted by a new chore or assignment for the day.

Instead, she was met by a bouquet of roses held by Director of Support Services Michael Thompson, who along with Director Personnel Jan Walker and Superintendent Paul Dyal, gave her the news that she had been named the Taylor County School District’s School-Related Employee of the Year.
