Community Prayer Walk is May 5

The Women’s Prayer Circle invites the community to join the Taylor County Prayer Walk planned Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m.

The walk will begin at Wal-Mart with “join in” stops along the way.

“Groups can assemble and join us at Tree Capital Credit Union and Hampton Springs Avenue. We will be marching to City Hall. For those who don’t feel they can make the return trip, shuttle vans will be available. If you can’t walk, plan to meet us at City Hall. We ask each group to bring your church flag, banner or sign to identify yourselves. As we march we will be singing, praying and pronouncing blessings on our county,” organizers said.
