Glover’s superintendent run will open school board seat

Local voters could soon have an additional seat to fill this election cycle.

As a candidate for superintendent of schools, Danny Glover Jr. has until 10 days before qualifying–which begins June 20–to file his resignation from the school board. His resignation, required under Florida’s “resign to run” law, paves the way for the Dist. 1 seat to be placed on the ballot.
