As part of its celebrations surrounding Superbowl 50, the National Football League (NFL) presented golden footballs to every high school in the country which had produced an athlete who later played in a Super Bowl.
This included Taylor County High School (TCHS) and LeGarrette Blount, who was part of the New England Patriot team which won Superbowl XLIX in 2015.
