    Taylor schools earn ‘C’ average

    Nearly nine months after the end of the 2014- 15 school year, the Florida Department of Education (DOE) finally released school grades Friday, Feb. 12, and Taylor County schools earned “Cs” across the board.

    The previous school year was the first in which students were tested on the new statewide Florida Standards Assessment (FSA), and the legislature mandated the test be certified before official results could be released, delaying school grades months.
