Baseball team opens season with 5-0 victory

The Taylor County High baseball team opened its 2016 season here Tuesday with a 5-0 shutout win over Lafayette County.

Senior Cole Wentworth got the win on the mound by tossing 5 shutout innings with 11 strikeouts. Caleb Wentworth picked up the save scattering 3 hits over the final 2 innings with a pair of strikeouts.
