Patterson will step down after 4 terms

County Commissioner Pat Patterson, the senior member on the board in her fourth term in office, announced this week that she will not seek a fifth.

Patterson, who was first elected in 2000 and represents District 5, made her announcement during Tuesday evening’s commission meeting.
