Whiddon will not seek a 7th term

Longtime Taylor County School Board member Darrell Whiddon, who has represented District 3 since 1992, will not seek re-election this year for a seventh term.

During the school board’s recent meeting Steinhatchee, Whiddon mentioned that his time in office would end in November
