Murder suspect brought from Missouri to face multiple charges here

Sandy blonde hair hanging over his eyes and sporting a thick, bushy beard, Mark Ellsworth Lashhorn III appeared to be just another inmate dressed in orange during first appearance hearings held Thursday morning.

He was the first called forward by County Judge Bill Blue, who read a list of four charges against him: revocation of pre-trial release, grand theft of a motor vehicle, first degree murder and possession of a short-barreled shotgun.
