Victim’s sister saw suspect flee scene

The Steinhatchee woman found slain in her home last week appears to have been the victim of a murder/ failed suicide apparently staged by her ex-boyfriend, Raymond “Little Ray” Parker Jr., according to arrest records.

Parker allegedly attacked Colleen Thomas, 59, in her home on Riverside Drive in Steinhatchee Feb. 9, before fleeing the scene and possibly attempting to kill himself by an unknown method.
