Fire Marshal investigating suspected arson here

A residential fire, which caused an estimated $15,000 in damages, is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office as suspected arson.

Taylor County Fire-Rescue was dispatched Saturday, Feb. 20, to 5195 Shade Tree Lane at 10:36 p.m. Crews logged a four-minute response time and had the fire controlled within minutes, Lt. Chris Williams said. The fire was confined to a single bedroom.
