Aman’s 6.65-pound trout takes top prize

Michael Aman’s 6.65-pound trout was good enough to capture the top prize of $3,000 in the 22nd Annual Optimist Club Saltwater Fishing Tournament held here Saturday.

Anglers braved cool, windy conditions for much of the day to compete in the popular event.

PHOTO: Chase Norwood won the under-18 redfish category with a 6.45-pounder and placed second in the trout division with a 3.60-pound fish.
