Buckeye Park to close

Buckeye Park, a fixture in the Perry community for at least the past four decades, will soon close and the facilities will be demolished to make way for future expansions at the Foley Cellulose Mill operated by Georgia-Pacific.

According to company officials, the park will close permanently Friday, March 11.
