County set to spend $212,000 for community center in Shady Grove

The Taylor County Commission is currently seeking architectural firms to design a community center at Shady Grove Park, which officials expect will cost up to $212,000.

The board unanimously approved the solicitation packet during its Feb. 16 meeting. The responses are due back by Friday, April 1, with the bids to be opened at the commission’s Monday, April 4, meeting.
