Drug sweep lands 9 in jail

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force deployed a dragnet this week to scoop up 10 individuals on outstanding drug-related arrest warrants.

Seven of the individuals had first appearance hearings before County Judge Bill Blue Tuesday morning while two suspects were arrested outside of the county. The final warrant was served on a suspect who was already in custody at the Taylor County Jail on unrelated charges.
