Thousands of mud truck enthusiasts roared into Taylor County last weekend for the annual Iron Horse Mud Ranch Dysfunctional Family Reunion March 3-6.

Four days and countless axles, wheel bearings and nitrous burns later, they left with a wake of vehicle fires, crashes and injuries in their rearview mirrors.

PHOTO: A flash explosion left one man with second and third degree burns at this past weekend’s mud bog at Iron Horse Mud Ranch. He was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville and is said to have received skin grafts Tuesday.
